Course Summary: Have you ever wondered what constitutes a good thesis? What is theoretical framework and what are research methodologies? What should be in there and what shouldn’t be? For many students writing their first or second thesis can be a daunting task. This course focuses on each component of a sound academic research and guides you through the process of writing a well-structured thesis. Whether you are just writing your Bachelor thesis or drafting an academic paper, all the insights and tips you receive in this course are going to be immensely helpful.
The course covers the following components: Ontology and Epistemology, literature review, theoretical framework, research methods and methodologies, data collection, data analysis methods, research ethics.
Learning Materials: Reading, online lectures, case studies and third-party videos. All materials will be in English
Assessment: Successful completion of module quizzes and very short questions
Targeted Audience/Best suited for: BA and MA level students pursuing a degree in Humanities or Social Sciences
